FLICK AUSTINTOWN – Dale R. Flick 57, an Air Force veteran and HVAC technician, died unexpectedly in Youngstown, on Friday, July 27, 2018. Dale is survived by his wife, the former Vicky Lorenzi of Austintown; mother Nancy Flick of Boardman; sister Kathy (Gary) Brousseau of Chardin; his children, Army Sergeant Major Ron (Ashley) Flick of Okinawa, Japan, Hollie (James) Nevin Ph.D. of Philadelphia, Pa., and Jeremy Flick of Boulder, Colo.; along with his three grandchildren, Penelope Flick, Adrianna, and Brianna Nevin. He also leaves niece Lindsay (Braden) Cook, and nephew Michael (Gina) Flick, in addition to several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His father and brother, James Flick, preceded Dale in death. Dale was born Oct. 4, 1960, in Youngstown, son of James and Nancy (Bodine) Flick. He was a life long resident of the area, a graduate of Boardman High School, a Local 33 union member, and an active participant in the D.A.R.E. social community. Dale will always be remembered as a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at the Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market St. in Boardman. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, Aug. 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. Those that attend are encouraged to wear Steelers attire. ...

BECKER COLUMBIANA - Michael G. Becker, 89, died on Saturday, July 28, 2018, at the Hospice House of Poland. He was born in Pittsburgh, a son of the late Michael G. Becker Sr. and Mary Eibel Becker. Mike had worked as a salesperson for 33 years, retiring in 1991 from Landmark in Columbiana. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins Hockey fan. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Loretta Graner Becker, whom he married on July 15, 1967; a daughter, Julia (David) Kleemann of Pittsburgh; a brother, Robert (Marlene) Becker of Pittsburgh; two granddaughters, Melissa (Bill) Pollock of West Deer, Pa. and Amy (Domenic) Lampasi of Pittsburgh; three great-grandchildren, Alexis, Domenic, and Joel; and by many nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Kacprzyk; a brother, Harry Becker; and by his sister, Joanne Zmenkowski-Machin. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Warrick-Kummer-Rettig Funeral Home in Columbiana. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. at the funeral home with Father Christopher Cicero officiating. Burial will be at the Columbiana Cemetery.
